Topic: Print topic feature does not print photos only the hyperlink text

If this has never worked I apologize in advance, I never used this print feature. A couple of my members said that when they used (not sure how long ago) the print topic feature the photos in the posts would show in the printed topic. Now they only get the hyperlink text which is no good to them when printing out tutorial topic's that rely on photos to explain what is being taught in the tutorials.

Does anyone know if this is something I can fix in forum options? Maybe browser settings? Is it possible that I lost this feature when I upgraded from SMF 1.1 to SMF 2.0?

Well, I can confirm that it does this on a basic installed system.... and it's probably intentional, because the print option is supposed to be a no-frills, print the text display.

just checked. It is intentional, but there is a mod to add the image into the print page

even though it's old -- it should work in the 2.0.x code (although you may have to tell the package manager to emulate 2.0.3)

Thanks Kindred appreciate you looking this up for me. just tonight I ran across this :
https://evernote.com/features/webclipper. It probably will serve their purpose without me installing the mod. If not I will see if I can get the mod to work on my board.
