Same like others, blank screen when opening Spell check after server migration.Host says: "I checked your case and PHP extension "pspell" is already enabled, please check the case from your end."English_British Language installed.NB: Tried to reinstall Language pack but constantly get error message: "The Simple Machines site is not responding. Please try again later."

That's my firm opinion.... but what do I know?!

Check your new host installed dictionaries...

I thought they were downloads in SMF ?

No, the dictionaries are installed on the server; not SMF. :)

Did you ask about the dictionaries?

Isn't pspell just the interface?  It requires server installed dictionaries for spellcheck to work.

Forum language packs are SMF downloads, dictionaries are not, they're server side.

Aspell, pspell and dictionaries have to be installed server side.

They say this answers my question...!
Fine. Everything must be ok then. Good luck with your new "all knowing" host.

Sir Osis of Liver

Screenshot shows pspell enabled, but don't think that means dictionaries are installed.  Won't work without the dictionaries.

I had this problem too as I've just had two domains/sites moved to Crocweb, they were an it straight away and installed the dictionaries and all is well.

Sir Osis of Liver

Crocweb has excellent support, most hosts do not and will not install dictionaries on request, or even know how. :P
