Ban system

Hello!

I have banned 1 user and when other users join to my forum, they appear as banned, (not all, just some users).

If I have banned the user's IP, why do other users get banned when currently there's only 1 user banned?

Using SMF 2.1 RC3 version.

because they are all using the same ip address....how sure are you that these other users aren't just the same user

that is one of the biggest problems with banning by ip.....ban by username and email instead....

ip address can change and be reused by others.

Because other users (exactly 3) asked me why they were banned, when they weren't the same person, so I don't know...

Probably because you are using a proxy....   

Just don't ban by ip

what is you ban mask trigger? which ip number/range stand ther?
