The year in the footer

The footer on the portal simplemachines.org shows the year 2020, on the forum shows year 2019: SMF © 2019, Simple Machines - when I am logged in to the forum I see 2019, if I am logged out I see 2021.

Right, thanks for the clarification but on the portal is the old year 2020.

It is not a portal, it is custom coded.

The year should reflect the last time it was updated. 2020 is correct.

SMF 2.0.18 was released in 2021, we need to update our language files to have the new copyright date.

Like Kindred and Illori said it's the language files, and it depends what language you have selected in your profile.  Those files still need updating.
