Hi folks!

After starting a forum a year or so ago I decided to merge my two accounts in to one. One account had my regular username, the other had been reserved for administration only use.

Having the two accounts caused confusion among other users so the accounts were merged. What I found was that although the total post count for the two accounts added together successfully, the topic starting count did not.

I have tried recounting totals and so on, but always the same result:- total posts correct, top topic starters count incorrect (for my merged accounts).

Is there any way to correct this? Is it possible to correct the count manually within the database table?

Not a critical issue, just annoying to me! :)

Thanks!

The topics counter does a select COUNT(*) on the id_member_started field from the topics table.

Probably the old user id is still listed as the id_member_started for the topics started by that user.
If you update it to the new user id it should count correctly.
