scanning of file attachments

Is there a virus scanning ability of files that are attached?

My group is small (less than 20), but I can't be sure people scan documents they receive before putting them up for others.

(searching the archives too while I await a response)

There is no built in antivirus scanning in SMF. I believe some webhosts with cpanel use clamav contact your hosting provider to see if they support it.

My host uses ClamAV, it's in Cpanel > Advanced.  If you have a small forum with not too many attachments, you can d/l the directory and scan it locally.
