Exciting theme, however - immediateley after choosing this theme, this error occurs:

"Unable to load the main_above sub template!"

Its just a blank white page with that message.

All I did was simply downloaded the saphire.tar.gz attatchment, installed it using the Admin "Upload & Install" feature. After installing it said, "Saphire theme has been successfully installed." But immediateley after switching to the theme the above error occurs. Just downloaed the package 5 mins ago.

Using SMF 1.1 RC1

At the very least, because the forum is now unavailable, I would like to reset the board back to the original theme, how would I do that?

i dont know what's wrong. use this url to automatically use the smf default.

Hey TIPP maybe you can answer this..cause no one else seems to. is there a way to modify the saphire theme to get the GoogleSpider mod to work, I have tried every thing even crashed the whole board once lol. it shows up in options but thats it...

you need to edit the custom template. I did that to add users online today at otek671.com forum. Im not sure what the code it since I dont use that mod.

ill do some popular mods to it, try to make it look as natural as possible, and then post exactly what i did/where i made modifications.

Tipp, the problem is that inside the .tar.gz you've got a folder with the stuff in - you need the stuff in the .tar.gz but NOT in a folder just like the noflash zip.

is it like that? on my pc it extracts to zip -> files. not zip -> folder - > files. i just checked again. I checked the with flash one. (.tar.gz)

I believe so as SMF shows up a white background etc. - the stuff that usually happens if a theme is inside a folder inside the file.

On my boards the images for YIM and ICQ are not showing up. They show red x's under the users avatar. Any way to fix this?

I got it, it is actually a database issue. They are set to nothing but the forum still thinks that is is so it shows a red x. I need to figure out how to set it correctly without using phpmyadmin, it isn't available.

That is what happens when you convert from Snitz.. It has been giving me a REAL headache

Great theme though, sorry for the confusion

Looks like you are having the same issue as me, I have this template setup on two diferent hosting services. My icq gif isnt showing on the service that I have smf 1.1Rc1 but it shows up on another hosting service running smf 1.0.5. Note to TIPP: that xx.gif is showing up now when I changed hosting services but I cant seem to apply any mods..

And yea, I removed the link because I got it fixed now. Mine was more due to the conversion between Snitz and SMF I did. Not a template issue. I think it will take a while before all the little database issues are ironed out on mine. If you want to see the link is

I have a request. I have my forum integrated in joomla, so the header swf links don't work for me, so i was wondering if you could get me one without em. or maybe add the right url? "index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26"
