How to remove last post column on child board page

I'm having an issue with Google not seeing some pages on my site as mobile friendly. I've added a viewport tag per Google and now I'm seeing content spilling over on smaller mobile devices. There is just too much content to fit on a mobile screen without the text being too small to read.

I've removed the Last Post column for the main categories by modifying BoardIndex.template.php (kind of guessed but it seemed to work LOL) but I'm struggling to remove the last post column on child board pages.

Looks like there was a similar request at https://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=528059.0 just a different column.

Can anyone tell me how to remove that column?

Thank you Diego. I've made so many code changes to my current theme I feel I would be starting over but it's a possibility.

You should update to the latest version (SMF 2.0.18) while you are at it

Looks like the Googlebot Smartphone viewport is approximately 400px wide. I am so close to that (without creating a horizontal scroll bar) I think I might get to where I need to be by shaving some pixels off by reducing padding and or margin space on some elements so I'm going to try that first.

if you are using the default theme one of these two mods will help to hide things when on smaller screen sizes and not on larger screen sizes

however, regardless you really should update to the latest stable version (2.0.18) for security fixes

you can do this by using the patches, one by one until you are up to 2.0.18

though if you've been removing items from files you may run into errors, which you could post them and we can try to help solve them as they occur
