Hello,

I'm using SMF 2.1 RC4
I have noticed the diference between database size reported in cPanel and phpMyadmin:
- cPanel reports size of 295 MB
- phpMyadmin reports size of 173 MB (within 142 tables)

Is it a bug or some caching feature?
For now, there is no problem, database size limit is 1 GB :)

Do you have more than one database?

cPanel reports the total size of all your databases combined, phpMyAdmin reports the size of the database you're viewing only.

Yes, I have 4 databases, with total size of 647 MB

The size of forum database bulataka_bnf reported in cPanel is 295 MB
But phpMyadmin reports 173 MB only:

I have another SMF 2.0.18 forum (on the first screenshot - database bulataka_smf2), and for it reported sizes in cPanel and phpMyadmin are equal - 324 MB

I found this article:

https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/4408316841751-Difference-in-database-size-in-cPanel-and-phpMyAdmin

Maybe cPanel settings on my host make difference in database sizes.
