I'm setting up some moderators etc.  Is there a way to connect as a specific user to test their privileges?

For the forums I manage I create accounts that only I, as the admin, know the password for with the same privileges.  Example, "Forum_Moderator", "Forum_Staff", "Forum_Member", "Forum_Visitor", etc ...

Thanks.  That's kinda what I'm ending up doing.  phpbb has a 'view forum as user' function that allows you to run through and test permissions of a specific user.  It's nice but this will work.

Having the ability to easily see the permissions for a user in their profile info comes in handy but I noticed that it didn't seem to show everything available.

Thanks for the input.

I do same as GL700Wing.

It's not the quickest but I think its actually the best way as there is never any confusion then as to whether what you are doing is admin or the user you are 'viewing as' as can happen in phpBB.

Also by sharing the password with other admins and mods on your team, they can also check as they may need to.
