Moving and sorting messages ....

Hope that I can mumble my way through this !!!!! I have been running SMF since 2007.... I have always struggled to find a way to move messages within the topic.
Is this possible with 2.1 ?

Do you mean, change the sort order of the responses?  If so, no. Not possible.

Do you mean separate a response post from a thread and put it into a different thread?
If so, no... you would still have to split the post and then combine it into the new target thread
