Recommend Chat or Shoutbox.
Can someone please recommend a simple chat or shoutbox for my forum? Is there any functional modification? Or something that could be used in the Global Headers Footers modification? Thank you very much in advance for your advice.

You can use some of portals working on SMF 2.1 - TinyPortal or ezPortal, they have shoutbox included.
I use and recommend TinyPortal:

Free portals usually include a free shoutbox.  If you want to spend money, SMFPacks Shoutbox Pro is a paid mod, you can see it running here.

I wouldn't use portals, SMFPacks Shoutbox Pro has a bug with banning users.
