Looking for volenteers to take on ownership of my modifications

Hi,

One part of me returning to SMF was that I was returning to focus on development of the core forum. Unfortunately I no longer have time to support all the modifications I've written in the past, but don't want to leave lots of people in the lurch. I was wondering whether there are any people out there who would be interested in taking over any of my modifications, both to support and update them over time - and of course develop them further if you wish.

If there is anyone interested in taking on any of my modifications please PM me, along with any relevant experience. I don't want to hand the reigns over to someone unless they have proven themselves to be a proficient coder, and have been around here for some time. If you believe you fit the bill please let me know. The one mod which I'm going to finish myself is the paid subscription one so please don't request to take over that!

I intend to finish the subs mod, but not charge for it. I will do my best to support it for bug fixes etc. Personally I'd like to see it become part of SMF as I think it's popular functionality but we shall have to see.

So far I only have one response to this post - and that was for the pie chart mod.

Anyone ever take over the post from email mod? This indeed would be a great way to accomodate users who're more accustomed to workign on mailining lists-based solutions.

the bookmark mod was a good mod. Have you considered adjusting it to work with TinyPortal?

One of the MODS that Grudge did was to to write a short mod and code change to allow Calendar imports to be performed so as to allow the user to import their own calendar events (i.e. bank holidays, and other country specific events). This mod did exist to work with an older version of SMF, and I have managed to get hold of the mod from Big Jacko along with the import file which he has amended to import UK bank holidays and other UK events. He and I have both tried to contact Grudge, email through this board and other means. Alas to no avail.

The code has been modified for me to work with 1.07, however needs changing to work with 1.1 RC2, so I am wondering if any kind person can assist with this small project? I have the tar file here with the code as a complete package and the sample holiday file, plus a install instruction text file. It just needs tweaking to allow it to work with the newer 1.1 RC2 version.

If you can help, please contact me via this forum, or Big Jacko, and we can supply the code files.

I do not really intend to take on ownership for Visual Warning, I'm just a French user who wants to help people to use it until SMF 2.0. So, since January 2007, I have made the updates for this mod (v1.31, 1.32)
Aaron, who was the previous "updater", helped me to upload the last versions on the MODIFICATIONS' PAGE last january-february.

Is there a way to upload the new package (v1.33) ?
I also have a version (v1.4) which adds a new option allowing you to hide level warnings for people unable to warn.(SMF 1.1.x)

Can you help me to find a way to upload the updates more easily ?
