Change Log

Version 1.0 - Aug 20 2020
+ Tidy up some install parts, less operations needed to install...
+ Better support for tables, and other table-used parts.
! CSS changes to fit things better
! Anything below (Unofficial Beta tagged)

Old Change Log (ResponsiveCurve -Official/Unofficial)
Version 1.1.0 - May 19 2019 (Unofficial - Beta Version)
+ Better support for menu (Plays nicely with Ultimate Menu)
! (Rev2) Icons added to menu items (Icons taken from:
! Memberlist has new table structure (only for mlist)*
! Some padding changes for better UX
- Old menu (small icon) removed.
- Old code removed from installer (now controlled by CSS)**
* Developer Note: This is early tests for new table structure...
** This will allow us to show more, you can see the change on messageIndex
Version 1.0.1 - May 16 2018 (Unofficial - Beta Version)
! Play nicely with maps! (iFrames should be limited at 100% max-width for mobile devices)
! Login & Search (top) buttons/inputs should be bigger now.
! Give more space to post... none likes to stay too close (Posts (.inner) has more padding now)
! Margin of buttons now controlled by almighty parent li... (On buttonlist, a element has 0 margin and all spacing handled by upper li element)
! Structure changes means we don't have to show this also saves space for actual topic title (Author text on topic display now hidden by default)
! Admin menu was too short to reach 3rd level menu... Admin menu's sub element's width increased to 75% (was 51%)
(Developer note; it still requires some testing on real usage feedback is most welcome as always)
! Quick tasks doubleganker removed from 720p settings, it should flow freely now on... Long live the QuickTasks! (Hardlimited version of #quick_tasks removed from the responsive.css)
! In Core Features page, descriptions are hidden for overflow reasons but no more! Now you can freely read descriptions without scrolling in the area. Also its padding increased for possible overflowing with the icon
! We need space... So ? So... Don't go huge paddings where its not needed (padding on #adm_submenus removed to give more space)
! In admin section, all dt/dd elements got their 100% width to give better UX to users.
(Developer note; this can be bit problem but end result will give users on mobile at admin section huge UX benefits)
! (Cross Fingers) Annoying extra-background on main_menu item issue fixed... it shouldn't be showing the hidden background on them.
! Improvements on mlist (memberlist search)
! Added jQuery & SuperFish for menu to increase UX on mobile.
(Developer note; SuperFish might look small addition to system, it enabled click-to-open menu which greatly increases the mobile capibilities of the menu)
(Note2; This might lead to removing icons (requires official decision) and revert to old text-based)
Version 1.0.0 - March 21 2016
! Padding of select and imput boxes enlarged to avoid bad UX.
! Admin menu changes to improve its responsiveness.
! fix for main_menu weird background creation on tap/hover.
Version 1.0 Beta 5 - June 11 2015
! Resolution range decreased to 720px (it was 780px)
! Resolution range decreased to 240px (it was 300px)
! Small margin changes on main_menu (dropmenu) for small devices (240px-640px)
! index_common_stats now hidden due to template styling (for small devices)
! Improvements for iPhone 4 (+earlier) users (now they can see menu if they can't before)
! Keyinfo now back but not fully, posts now showing time_stamp (as requested)
! A dirty fix added for Simple Portal (don't get your hopes up, can be removed before stable release)
! Problem with size on wrapper element fixed (fingers crossed :P )
Version 1.0 Beta 4 - May 8 2015
! Stats page (action=stats) blank issue fixed and size increased
! Unread topic/posts issue fixed
! Profile stats now has bigger size
! Report to mod box width/height changed on small screen
Version 1.0 Beta 3 - April 23 2015
! Google test fail problem fixed
! Login button size issue fixed
Version 1.0 Beta 2 - April 20 2015
! Missing end tag creates XHTML validation error
Version 1.0 Beta 1 - April 16 2015
- Initial release

The previous version has been removed. Hilbert is loaded.
Thanks Antes

So, what is this mod doing? Any example to see, please.  O:)

This adds a mobile support to your existing Curve theme... Not that many modifications are supported but, many mods which sticks with core classes of SMF will work fine... Do mind, this mod does not do a rewrite on template structure so some places will be missing or ugly due to limitations... You can see better version of this in SMF 2.1 (Curve2).

I have locked-down SMF sites for my themes but I'm sure friends around here will post their sites with Hilbert (or ResponsiveCurve which is old version of this mod).

So, what is this mod doing?

Could be an idea then to add what this mod does into its description ;)

Done... even tho Hilbert does not require further explanation... Feel free to post your site, empowered by Hilbert : )

A screenshot or two would be sooo welcome tho :D

it makes the theme (if it is based off of the default curve) responsive and adds a hamburger menu to smaller device screens
I use the older version on almost all of my sites (links in sig)

Guess I need to update them now to this new version ;)  :P

Thanks, a11! Just visited your forum, it looks nice enough!

I switched to new PC recently and locked my remote server (since my work-load is kinda high I don't want to deal with hacked-server)... I will setup some demo hopefully soon and maybe 1.0.1 :)

@a11 thanks for the screens much appreciated

How I can change for size after Install Hilbert?

Hi Antes, I followed your original changes to responsive curve follow up CSS changes a couple years ago. You added the hamburger to that. If I uninstall that now and install Hilbert will that be better?

Yes... if you were using the unofficial beta ones, not by huge margin but yea ...

Any chance somebody can take a look? I do employ adsense and it is their own ad placement strategy I run. I removed the version 2 responsive curve mod and installed Hilbert. With the old version 2, (yesterday) when I tap on a recent post the open post is not responsive. It's all posts. The ads have always been responsive scaling to the size of the page when on mobile but the pages don't seem to be scaling down so neither are the ads.

I'm testing on a Samsung S9, Chrome only I cleared the cache after the Hilbert install.

There's definitely something in the CSS that Chrome on droid doesn't like. It's only when a topic opens it's not responsive. Works fine in FF on Droid though.

The responsive issue is still a problem in chrome on droid.

I have a different problem, specifically with the hamburger menu. I installed 1.0 today and now I have 2 hamburgers and neither one stays open to make a menu selection. It slides open then immediately closes. Any idea what I can edit to make it work again?

Image - The img tags don't seem to like imgbb links

Edit, I upgraded the forum to 2.0.19 today after the Hilbert install hoping that would fix the menu issue, it didn't.
