Hi, after posting on my site I usually include a link on the sites Facebook page however since upgrading to the latest newest build the image of whatever I have on the thread shows on the Facebook preview but the final Facebook post never includes it.  Now I have been doing a lot of testing including using the facebook debugger and the only error on that for any thread is

QuoteWarnings That Should Be Fixed

Inferred Property  The 'og:image' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

I have tried other hosts for images but that doesn't seem to be the problem and the sites root has a wordpress site and images are working just fine on Facebook for that so this does seem to be an issue I have with SMF 2.1

Has anyone else had this issue?

I have tried it on this very thread here home of SMF and Facebook will only fetch the SMF logo outside the thread, not the above image in it.  Now as many will know having an image from the thread can generate more traffic so we're missing out with it broken

Facebook and forums don't play nicely...
It's hard to define an og:image for user generated content

It worked on SMF 2.0 ok though, images help generate more traffic via Facebook

Except not really. SMF 2.0 didn't have og:image in the core at all, meaning when Facebook picked an image, it would load the topic and go looking for images.

SMF 2.1 has an og:image feature but it's generic and perhaps not necessarily what's needed here.

It's very generic then because Facebook isn't picking up anything for it unlike SMF 2.0 so traffic is affected
