Alternate Sub-Forum Presentation

Is it currently possible (with or without a mod) for SMF to display a specific sub-forum (not all... just one) similar to the attached sub-forum from a different forum software?

It's an excellent way to display posts in a "Show your projects" type of sub-forum.

The latest post get the top "two column" treatment while all older posts below get single column, etc.

If course it's *possible*. It just needs someone to write a nod to do it.

Notionally you could do it as a board-specific theme but the theme still needs to have the code required to fetch the post and display its content.

Of course anything is possible.  My apologies... I should have added "currently" in there somewhere. 

Perhaps this would be a good potential mod for someone with the know-how to take on?
