I have been away for a log time, I'm back. I have reinstalled, all new. What I need help with is permissions per board. I have one board that I need a membergroup to post to and all others read only. The rest of the forum is working fine. How to set permissions per board?

Steve

Use the 'read only' permission set and make that one person a moderator of that board. That's one way, anyway.

That's incorrect,  steve..Steve...  what you suggested only works well if a single (or extremely limited set) person needs permission to post.

Create a new board permissions profile
Set all groups with a read permissions and no post/write permissions
The add the write/post permits the specific group that you want to have access.

Sorry, I misread 'membergroup' as 'member'. Otherwise I would have suggested what you did.
