fresh install 2.1.2 // how drag /drop images

I thought I read somewhere before installing that 2.1.2 allowed users to drag/drop photos
if I try that (using chrome),  it opens a fresh tab
I see this drop-down here in the SMF community (look at attachments)
but it is not in MY forum (zero mods - fresh install)

Can you post a screenshot of your Reply form? Are the Attachments enabled at your forum btw?

well - not know how this happened
but I DO not have the drop-down arrow to add attachments
odd
maybe reloaded etc

so, is there a way to add photos in line?
or just use the (insert am image icon)

After you click upload, an insert button will appear, just click that.

For non-attachments, click the insert an image button on the bbcode bar.

FYI - Drag and drop does not work if js is disabled on the browser.

Which also suggests that,  if your local forum fails to load the Javascript content, it will also not work

getting smarter (thanks as always to the tips here)
1. do not get the dropdown arrow if it is a QUICK REPLY
2. did not see the INSERT option until AFTER:
Drag/Drop/UPLOAD = =THEN the insert option appears

That is correct. Quick reply dies not have the full option set
