I think it may be time for SMF to update their banners on the Promote SMF page.
The current ones show very old versions of the forum software.

Maybe change them to reflect the latest line.

Just a suggestion. :)

I don't think we have a graphic designer on the team at this time, but we will look into it.

Is Core even available for 2.1.x line?

Sadly no. I also don't think Curve 1 exists in a 2.1 fashion.

I did start on a port of Babylon fir 2.1 but I got bored because I'd come from environments where SCSS was fully integrated and it was something of a downgrade to use regular CSS again ;D

I legit miss Babylon. And I know some of my forum users do too. It was a good theme. (Of course, it did have it's limitations and having a dedicated image for every button isn't very handy... )

Can't you make an updated version?

That part wasn't a huge problem to replicate, I essentially turned the current sprite into a button factory with relatively little effort without even having to change the image.

Sadly I must admit I don't believe I could, someone else with better skills in themes might.

Sounds like a cool idea, if you could just make buttons at will then translations and such wouldn't be that much of an issue.

That's exactly what I did - CSS to scale the icons, bundling the correct font (the 2.0 port of Babylon uses the wrong font on the Moderate button!) and using CSS for gradients.

There was a screenshot in https://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=581714.0 and I might just give it a go to finish it over the weekend. It's either that or go super retro on some of the other ideas I have.
