Any way to fix avatars after upgrade?

After upgrade, it seems some avatars became blank. I am not sure if it's not a fake memory tho. The forum is not active for few years.


Is there a way to restore avatars of the users from the backup?
I don't remember which version I did upgrade from. I think some 1.x

The 2.1 upgrade moves uploaded avatars from /attachments to new /custom_avatar directory.  If this hasn't been done uploaded avatars will not be displayed.  You'll have to move them manually.

It was. And avatars are displayed that are in that directory. Maybe my memory fake me, and I feel like some users had avatars, while they didn't.
