(I believe, to write it in the right place).

I notice in the management, many years visitors with similar ip and apart from the general question, what is it?
Ip 54.36.148.150, 54.36.149.45, 54.36.148.214 etc. Which, I do an IP lookup on a regional whois server but can't find anything.
I also have the questions, if it is good for the forum these visits, as well as if there is a way not to be recorded as visits by the system.

1- users of thr same service provider may have ips in the same range... or they might be from spiders.

2- no, there is no way to exclude them... why would you want to?

3- it's not good or bad, it just is.

Thanks for your answer.
Quote1- users of thr same service provider may have ips in the same range... or they might be from spiders.
Let me remind you, that the smf shows the spinders, under the name spinder, as it also says, you have 2-3 or 5 spinders.
Also, I consider it impossible that so many IPs with the same prefix can be a simple user.

Quote2- no, there is no way to exclude them... why would you want to?
You can call it curiosity, as well as knowing what is going on in my forum.

What do you mean by spinders?

Panoulis64

In what you mention the forum.
Right now, I have:
23 visitors, 1 user (1 spider)
And when I go some I see, it's these.
It also mentions googles, yardex and spinder separately.

Spiders are only included in that list if they have been PRE-IDENTIFIED as spiders in the list that SMF has...      So, if a spider-bot-system CHANGES it's IP range, or was not part of the original list -- then they won't display as spiders - even if they are.

on the other hand - they could be script bots...

in your case...
