I recently changed my hosting company and ever since then I get random errors occurring on the forum.

An Error Has Occurred! - Call to undefined function shell_exec()

Any solutions please? SMF version 2.0.19

Thanks I will certainly look into those solutions.

I was considering using the latest smf board 2.1.4 when I carried out the transfer. Does this error occur with the latest board?

All versions have it - shell_exec has been disabled by your host, turn off host name lookups, it's the only way to fix that.
