Tidy Child Boards error - SMF 2.0.19

so the thing i'm trying to fix rn is whenever i add the tidy child boards mod to my forum (i know it doesn't get updates anymore, but it's just too good), i get an error, and the error is HTTP Error 500. i tried to change my php version multiple times, tried everything i saw but couldn't get it to work.. anybody got a fix?

I'm not sure, do you know where they store logs on Namecheap, or should i just live chat and ask them?

I think i got it from a website smfhacks or something like that, because the github version doesn't change anything (the child boards stay like normal)

Done, still getting the HTTP error. I'll try to find the logs tomorrow, since i'm on phone rn and can't really do much.

TCB installs normally in 2.0.19 running in php 8.0.  You may have a conflict with another mod.

You'll have to check for forum and server errors.

Both packages install successfully on test install.

I fixed this but now after installing the mod it has no functionality, like the mod didn't change anything, it's still the Child Boards: stuff

Just a guess, but looks like you have some remnant code from multiple TCB installs/uninstalls.  TCB edits two files, /Sources/ManageSettings.php and /Sources/Subs-BoardIndex.php.  You can try to find the code and remove it, or, since you only have one other mod installed, upload a clean set of 2.0.19 files and start fresh.

I already did that, that's how i fixed the PHP Fatal error

No, it doesn't.. Where can i find the settings??

@Arantor would probably know more than I can remember. Somewhere there are settings for number of boards in a column and what you want them called. I don't have a 2.0 installation to check it for you.

Edit: looking at the mod's support topic it says the settings are in Features and Options.
