I have a spammer on forum, posted nearly 30000 posts.. I deleted his account, there was an option,

Delete all posts.
Delete topics and posts.

I chose delete all posts, I thought that would include topics and everything too. Now the topics are left and the user is Guest...

I tried to assign his posts to another user, I receive positive feedback that posts were assigned. But new user has zero posts... How can I delete all the trash he posted?

I couldnt find the checkbox thing said here:https://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Deleting_posts#Deleting_Multiple_Posts but I even so I cant click 30000 messages.. any easy way to get rid of these posts?

The new user has zero posts in post count... but ARE the posts associated to the user?

Typically you need to do a recount posts after a reassignment in order for the post count to be updated... but if you're just going to delete the user anyway,  then it's not needed

Please do not PM, IM or Email me with support questions.  You will get better and faster responses in the support boards.  Thank you.

I go to new users profile and he has no messages and no topics... even if I delete the new user, nothing will change... I want to delete the thousands of spam posts from the spammer account... which I deleted and now he is a Guest but his topics remain...

i think this process was not working in SMF 2.0. i am not sure it got fixed in SMF 2.1. there may not be another option then manually deleting the posts/topics.

As the OP has been here after Illori's post without further input, marking this paused/abandoned.
