Can't register using SMF in Firefox

I have an odd problem, something works in IE but not Firefox.   

When registering using SMF instead of Joomla the register button never becomes available.  It stays grayed out and you can't click on it.  In IE it works perfectly.

You must have a value in each textbox, and make sure to check both checkboxes (age verification and agreement) before the register link becomes available.
