Selection option (checkboxes) in search result

It was practical in version 2.0 that after search results there were selection options (checkboxes), so for example, you could directly select and delete, merge, etc., topics. Are you planning to include this in version 2.1 as well?

Doubtful, it was explicitly removed in the run up to 2.1's release but I can't find why this was done, only that it was.
