Hi Guys,

I just upgraded the forum from version 2.1 RC1 to version 2.1.4 and I have trouble with Time - When I set any timezone from "Forum default timezone" (in General Configuration):

nothing will change until I log off. Then the forum shows right time:

but when I log in it again, I have the same wrong time on all forum:

I assume there's maybe still some settings separately in the profile settings or some other global settings for the change of timezones for each user? I read that some settings should be in user Forum Profile -> Look and Layout, but here I have only "Time format setting", no timezone / time offset...

I still use default theme and forum is without any mods. I've looked everywhere, but I can't find anything :) In the previous version 2.1 RC I was using " Overall time offset" global setting, but before the update I set zero hours here:

There are 2 settings at play. You have the admin setting, and then every user has a setting in their profile.
This sounds like you didn't check the settings in your profile. Profile -> Forum Profile -> Look and layout -> Time Format + Time zone

EDIT: Sorry, skimmed over some of that too fast apparently. Try to empty your forum file cache, and your browser cache, and check the profile settings again?

Thanks for the answer - I flush all cache multiple times, but with no difference :( I still dont see any other settings for the timezone on user profiles

When I look into "members" table in SQL, I don't see any records other than Time Format and Time offset:

Illori

are you the admin on this account? if not make sure the account has access to the "Edit additional profile settings" permission.

I tried create a new account with new test member and with this accaunt the time is right even after login... I still don't see any other settings of timezone, but it's now clear that the wrong time is only  on the old accounts before the upgrade... So I set the same timezone for everyone via SQL... Users still don't have the ability to change it in the profile, but that's not important in our case
