PM Message Count bug when auto respond is on

The auto respond feature seems to cause a miscount on PMs. If someone has auto respond enabled and you message them, your total message count will go up, but its impossible to mark these auto messages as read; so you end up with a banner saying "You have x new messages" even though there are no new messages - viewing or deleting the auto messages does not remove the "x new messages" alert.

Recounting all forum numbers fixes the issue, however it just goes out of sync again as soon as you receive another auto message.

I have not been able to find any other topics discussing this on this forum, so I am asking if anyone has advice for a fix!

Would that possibly be this mod PM Auto Responder?
I don't think SMF has ever had an autoresponse option built in.

Ah so that's it; I think it must be part of SMFPacks Conversations Pro then ~ in that case I doubt I'll be able to find much support I'll have to dig in a bit and see where these numbers are being incremented.
