Additional Polls for 2.1x [Paid/Free]

Hi, I'm from a small forum where we used to use Additional Polls for things like committee elections so we could do them all in one thread, and now we can't as of the 2.1 upgrade because the mod is no longer compatible. We did pay someone a bit to look into this but he didn't manage to do so/dropped off the radar, so this is attempt 2. We have a very small budget, but probably more "enough to buy dinner as a thank you gift" money than "pay for a day of a programmer's time" money.

Feature Set
Exactly the same as the old Additional Polls mod: we just want to be able to put several polls in the same thread.

This is a good idea for implementation in SMF 3.0, as well as for a portal plugin.
