Upload attachement stopped working.

Hi,

I run a a small forum (fewer than 20 members).  It is running 2.1.4.

I tried to upload an attachment to a post today and the screen quickly goes to the 'Paper Clip' icon but then just sits there.  At the bottomof the window is '0.3 MB / 49.03 MB'.

I have not altered any settings and have loaded attachements without any problems since the forum was set up (several years ago).

Has anyone any ideas please?

Nope, can't find any errors anywhere.  I've also tried uploading a file which I had successfully uploaded previously and later deleted.  Same effect.

By the way they are .XLS files.

Slightly confused by all the info but would it be  5.2.1 under PHP Myadmin?

5.2 is no supported by SMF 2.1.4

'0.3 MB / 49.03 MB'. is completely expected.
The file that you uploaded is 300Kb...  you have 49.03MB available to attach files.

No, that's the pma version.  Look in Admin > Support and Credits for php version.
