Restoring archived board

Had a strange glitch in 2.1.4.  I have just over 20 sub-boards in an 'Archived Boards' board where inactive boards have been moved for storage.  Just restored one board from archive to active, admin could see it, but not allowed group.  Had to disable/enable checkboxes in allowed groups and visible boards to make it visible to allowed group.  Seems that one or the other is setting is lost when board is moved to archived sub-boards and back.
When in Emor, do as the Snamors.

The board did not disappear, it just wasn't visible to allowed group.

what is the difference? they sound the same to me.

The board is visible to admin after it's moved from archive, it's not visible to allowed group.  It's on board index as intended, but allowed group can't see it until allowed groups and visible boards are unchecked, saved, checked, and saved.  One or both settings are displayed correctly but not working and must be reset.
When in Emor, do as the Snamors.

Doesn't seem to be same as this.  Moving a board works fine, it only happens when an archived sub-board is moved back to board index.  The board moves and works correctly for admin, it's there but allowed group can't see it.  Will try to replicate in core install when I have time.

it has nothing to do with a board being sub board or part of an archive. please read the thread again and test the fix provided.
