The forum/node after category when using it to redirect back to main index of the publichtml. Like this https://bricks.forum s where I want the redirect to go not back to https://bricks.forum/LegoCommunity

Kindred

I'm sorry, but your question is not clear.

Quotethe forum/node after category when using it to redirect back to main index of the publichtml.

What do you mean by this?

remember, URLs within the forum that point to "home" are always going to direct to the forum index page...

or are you talking about the redirect board that you have?
If that is what you mean --    what is the SPECIFIC URL that you use for the target of the board?

because that URL seems to be incorrect,,, it goes to https://bricks.forum/LegoCommunity/index.php?HTTPS://bricks.forum/login

I would like the redirect to be like bridge to the main domain without /legocommunity but to bricks.forum

HITG

I do not know if it's to do with theme or if it's an actual bug because like you said it repeats link.

Kindred

you did not answer my question....    WHat EXACTLY did you enter as the redirect target.   I use redirects just fine...
https://test2.turtleshellprod.com/

the board listed "redirect to 2.0.x test" works just fine....

If type anything wherever it be a link or word it links to bricks.forum/LegoCommunity first then adds to it without removing the bricks.forum/LegoCommunity

That sounds more like an .htaccess redirect issue.

The browser console will tell you if a redirect is being applied.

I'm pretty sure SMF isn't changing those URLs.  But your server probably is.

Open the browser console.  Go back to the main window & click on the link in question.

In the console, do you see a 301 or 302 associated with the url? Or a 200?
