2.0.15 to 2.0.16 upgrade issues

The guy who was previously in charge of doing software upgrades for us stopped at 2.0.15 because the 2.0.16 update was failing on four tests. We are now experiencing intermittent error messages which suggest that we need to perform updates.

There are four tests which are failing:
38 Step 6
40 Step 2
56 Step 11
56 Step 12

I've clicked on the icon next to each of these to see what they are attempting to do, and I can't imagine any reason why these would be failing.

Package Manager doesn't give any sort of indications what to do about fixing these, so I'm hoping that someone on here might be able to offer some suggestions.

ideally you should just upgrade to SMF 2.1 and then you can ignore these errors completely.

Our goal is to get to the latest version, but the documentation leads me to believe that trying to do this in one move would result in some sort of negative consequences.

If you want to get to 2.1.6, you will need to use the large upgrade package in any case - And that way is designed to skip versions, so you can even get from 1.1 to 2.1 directly.
