Is it possible to change the borders of the grids that surround the posts and threads? I would like to make them dotted instead of solid.

I can't seem to find it in the CSS anywhere, and for some reason this forum wont let me search, it keeps saying use more specific terms or something.

bloc

Thats because its not really a border..sometimes it just a background-color which shows through as thin lines, and other times a real border.

I suggest trying out the classes .bordercolor (the background color) and .tborder ( the real border) and see how they change things. The .windowbg and .windowbg2 is what "colors" the cells, so you need to try out with these too.
