Username not populated in table after conversion

After spending the greater part of the day trying to convert my snitz to smf I finally got it working.. BUT...

All of the usernames are missing so when you go to log in it says username doesn't exist. I can manually edit the profile and add it in but I have many members and don't really want to be doing that.. Is there an easy way to populate the usernames? I am pretty mysql dumb so I am asking here for help.. Thanks
