It will be 2006 when 1.1 is released, how the heck does it even matter?

The copyright is correct.  The next release will show 2006.

but y not just make it 2006 ;)
just sounds better and newer!
all products like norton, panda, and others name their products a year ahead
even ea games

kegobeer

Because that would not be honest or correct.  This is a dead issue, as the copyright will not be changed.

that's because that's the name of the game. Not the copyright.

Does it matter?
The only thing php can't do is tell you how much milk is left in the fridge.

sounds cooler 2 be newer 8)

A.) it doesnt say 2006 because it was not developed in 2006

B.) 1.1 will say 2006. it's not worth changing an release canadate for something so dumb/incorrect.

C.) it doesnt matter if it's "cooler", it's inaccurate.

This discussion isn't going anywhere useful.  Locking it now.
