RC2 with Joomla and broken links in notifications

strange this, i just realized about it.
well, i don't know what i did but my members started to get the link inside emails, you know the com_smf tag BUT... something i noticed was the email link comes like this:

index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=79&topic=1949.new#new

notice it doesn't have the http://... stuff before the index word, how strange is that! how can i fix that?

is there a way or should i install again the whole thing?

On line 306 of smf.php, you should find this:

$new_url = str_replace(';', '/', $new_url);

Replace it with this:

$new_url = str_replace(';', '/', $new_url);
} else {$new_url = $mosConfig_live_site . '/' . $new_url;}

oh yeah, i remember about that file, but where is it, i looked into the sources? and it's not there.
