Simplemachines.org is to get a staggering (predicted) PageRank 10 in googles next PageRank update,,,

I was just checking my future pagerank (which will drop for a 3 to a 2  :( ) & I typed simplemachines.org , the result made me really happy  :D

Check it Here
(or if that didnt work http://www.rustybrick.com/pagerank-prediction.php , then type simplemachines.org

So, I would like to take this chance to congratulate SMF on this great news

(VBulletin is at 7 and is to stay, IPB is at 8, and estimated to go up to 9)

Just in case that site goes down, this is what it wrote

QuoteResults: Your current Google PageRank is 7. Based on our calculations, we predict your future PageRank after the next Google update will be 10, an increase of  38.25% (simplemachines.org).

8) 8) 8) 8)

10 very is unlikely, very few get that rank. One day it may reach 9 though if can convert all these phpbb users.

You can only get a pagerank ten if Google assigns it to you manually (that is why there are very few pagerank 10 sites).

K, if only google can assist, that means that Simlemachines.org is bound to have PR9 by the next update , right?
I mean, look at the perdiction tool

Noone knows how the Pageranking system works. One might have a clue, but that's it...

Dannii

I'm sure someone in Google knows how it works. Someone had to write it after all ;0

Yes, google is going to release the one thing that makes their results accurate...

Didnt gooogle release the formula ?
No. Well, not really. They've patented methods of search engine indexing - this patent lists ways one might see if a site is good or not. Many SEOs have jumped on this as they feel at least most of the points are used by Google.

Install a tool and se how fast we climme :P

Used to transmit a indentifiying ID but no longer does this. Has a very clear EULA but user's should understand that their surfing habits will be anonymously aggregated
Sigh...

That Rustybrick.com service seem to be very unreliable. It even states that my Swedish web site Dubbningshemsidan will get a page ranking of 10 (from the current 5), which I highly doubt...

My site has a page rank of 2. Hooray, it was zero for ages. That tool predicts many sites will be 10 after the next ranking takes place though. If too many sites get a rank of 10, Google will need to increase the ranks possible by 1 and start giving sites a rank of 11 :)

Whats the domain of ur site ??

SMF is at a 7 right now as we speak. If you look hard enough, the google code is <in threroy> out there. There are a few dozen that claim to be the real deal, but nobody @ google will confirm, so who really knows.

whats this then ?

PR(A) = (1-d) + d (PR(T1)/C(T1) + ... + PR(Tn)/C(Tn))
Yeah, thats one of the ones I've seen... There are a few other variations of it too. Its hard to say what one is real, because google isn't going to give anyone the key to the front door. Also, I've herd that they have some other complex factors now, so even that formula is out dated.
