Creating a Post Tracker

Basically I want to create a Post tracker for certain individuals.  But I'm not sure how to do it.  I want it to basically develop a list of posts made by certain marked individuals or individuals by a certain group etc.  Any recommendations?

Do you need all posts by a member of just some of them? Otherwise you can use SMFs built in recent posts function which can be accessed through their profile. e.g. yours
