I see you are using SMF registration.

In your Joomla admin panel, what is the value of this:

Allow User Registration:

Also, you mentioned converting from phpBB.  Did you have the phpBB integration component installed?

i was not finish with the config of the bridge, i did just some first steps, yes i took to SMF registration, but i do not remember that i did some thing with the User Registration, so i dont know,

a point is:  for all, {admin and user} after login and logout, the smf_forum goes out of the joomla_wrapp,
by using it just normaly, browsing threads and so, it stands in the wrapp,

and also by delete a user (from the smf_admin) that user (data), still stands in the database _usertable of joomla
and by gegistration it dont writ all thing in that table, this is always: registerDate, it stands: 0000-00-00 00:00:00, and some time also:  name and username it is just amty, for some users

if that helps you to help me_!

edit after some time ---

i have try different things again and again,  and i have come to the pont after login, it stands in the wrapp, still i do not get access to my joomla admin space,

if noone has a solution, please tell me, how i can deinstall - the bridge - without destroing everything, i have to work on my joomla site

Kindred

well, I am confused as to the problems you are having... but to uninstall, just delete the 2 components, and the module and remove the forum menu item...

after delete - of all this, i still can not go into my joomla_admin,
but this was clear to me bevor, thats why i was asking here,
the bridge_install_routine, - has make some changes in the joomla core files and database - that dont go back just by delete some files from the server, if i am wrong please correct me

Orstio

No.  This bridge changes nothing in the Joomla core.

Kindred

and note... you don't actually want to just delete the files on your server.   You want to use the uninstall routine in Joomla.

(also you will have to remove the code from the joomla template, by hand.)

you are funny people, just think about! - the whole thread is about:  i can not enter my joomla_admin, do you not see that i have a serious problem

Here is the nature of your problem:

When you installed Joomla and SMF, you used different usernames and passwords for the admin accounts.

For some reason, you thought that SMF would somehow magically know your Joomla admin account, and let you login to SMF with it.

This, of course, causes a great deal of confusion, and you now don't know what password or username to use to login to your Joomla admin panel.

Does that sound about right?

Fixing it at this point is not easy.  I would fix it for you, but I have no way of being certain that your confusion would not cause the same thing to happen yet again.

if you can fix it - there will be also a way - to not get the same problem again, and also - it is sure - not just a problem mixing up my passwords, i am dealing with passwords about 5 years, i always find my right passwords,

but yes, now there is a lot confusion - because i have try a lot of things, if you can fix it - please tell me - what i have to do now, i can give you any access

Orstio

PM me with access to your site's cPanel.  I will fix it for you, but only once.

can i change the password now_? oje - so many questions

Orstio

Quoteand do you think it will work with an Assigned template_?

Yes, as long as you add the code from the readme.html to each template you are using.

Quotedo i have to pleace the smf_login_modul in order to run it,

You don't have to, but you would be best to have it published.

Quotecan i change the password now_?

Yes, but do so in SMF, not in Joomla.
