Hello

I have upgraded my forum from 1.1 RC1 to 1.1 RC2 ( 100.000 messages ; 1100 members )
After the installation, all looked fine ...
Next 10 minutes , i got a message : Connection database problem
I have looked to phpmyadmin and found that all database tables are in use ... Records in use

Here's a screeenshot ...

Can you help me please ..

Thx

Nicolas

Rename Settings.php to Settings_.php then rename Settings_bak.php to Settings.php.  If that doesn't work make sure that your database information in Settings.php is correct.

Hello

Thanks for your quick reply ..
After renaming the files, I got the same result ..

Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

Thx

Looks to me as if the maximum amount of connections to the db has been reached. These time-out after a while, and then your forum should work again...

Do you have 'persistent connection' enabled? Admin -> Server Settings

You should wait for the connections to time-out anyway... Meanwhile, can you upload status.php (found on these forums, use the search function)?

Aaron.

Hello Aaron

Yes, but in repair_settings.php , I have just now disabled it ...
They are in use since 10 hours at all  ???

Thx

Nicolas

Aaron

Now that you've disabled it, they *should* time-out within an hour, if not you'll need to contact your host about this.

Hope this helps,
Aaron.

After re-re-starting my server and Mysql ...

In my status.php, I get " Current processes: 40 (39 sleeping, 1 running, 0 zombie) "

Is the database already working ?

I have submitted a ticket to my host
