Export Just Vbulletin 3.5 Users To SMF 1.1 RC2

I run a vbulletin 3.5 board and I have an SMF board on a seperate site as a back up board in case the vbulletin site goes down. And I was wondering if it'd be possible to just export the users from vbulletin and import them into smf so the users don't have to all reregister. If not that's cool, just figured I'd ask just in case.

Just convert the vBulletin board to a separate installation, and then dump the smf_members table from it (using PHPMyAdmin or similiar). After that you can easily import that table in the installation you wish to have them in.

That's what I was thinking of doing but wanted to see if anyone had a quicker/easier way first.
