open attachments in new window?

How do i do that? i know i need to put _blank somewhere but i don't know what file i need to change.

Thanks, but it doesn't work 
When i click on the thumbnail it still shows up in the same page, stretching out the forum

Any idea to remove the menu, statusbar etc and only show the window?
