will SMF 1.0.5 work with Joomla Bridge ?

I'm currently using SMF 1.1 RC2 but I've seen some people I think are using 1.0.5 wth their joomla site is this possible still ?  I was under the impression that the login bridge would only work with 1.1 RC2

The bridge version 3.19a is for SMF 1.0X and 1.1 RC1.  See the readme post for details of how to install it.
