removing this from read only boards

1.1rc2   i have a few boards that i am setting as read only as they will have child boards located under them, and i am basically using the board as a category. is there any way of removing the part circled in blue, from a board if it is read only? maybe in the next release it could be set up to not add this stuff for read only boards.

You can do it with a template change.  Also remember to look at boards as a regular user instead of an admin.  Things can look very different between the two
