Awesome!

Would we lose our current installed mods when we upgrade?

Hmm they said no but I lost all 3 of my mods and it now will not let me reaply. The package manager would not take this saying corupted so had to manual install.

So far 1.0.6 seems to be a train reck!  :o :( :-\

Ok, I'm still confused... I've read through all of these messages and I didn't see any answer to what to do when you click on the "update your forum" in the red box in the admin center and it doesn't work.  I, as with others, get the "The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF."  error message.  So there's something not happening that should be but like I said, I've not seen anything about what's wrong and how to fix it...

I've not modded my forum in any way shape or forum as I can't figure out how to do that either, but that's a topic for another message in the future.

Can someone help?

Any support request please start a new topic about it in the support board and not post it here.  The reason for this is that posts get lost in such a big topic.  Thanks.

Gee other peple seem to be discussing support related topics around the upgrade and getting answered - I didn't know if this was a problem or not having never seen it before. Sorry didn't mean to bugger your day.

- Mudd

Mudd please don't take it personal.  The reason I said this was because with these topics support seems to get lost from page to page and go unasnwered.  Check the 1.1 RC2 announcement.  We told the member to start a new topic for support.  If you would like to please contact me directly and I will assist you with your problem :)  As for everyone else please start new topics if you have support issue.

I looked up in the mod file and i have very important mods installed, my advice: do not update if you get error for Sub.php, I'd rather wait for 1.1 final and then to install all needed mods again.

Can smf1.0.5's skin and mod use on 1.0.6 ?

Thats fantastico's duty not Simple Machines, they will update and when the hosts call back they will receive the updates and then the users can update, usually takes a day or two for fantastico to update.
