I noticed that when downloading files attached to posts , smf is not sending the file
size to the browser this causing the file not knowing the estimated time left... and this may be
an inconvenient for the end-user.

this could be easily achieved by using header('Content-length: '.filesize($thefile)); when sending the attachments...

I think, this should be in by default...Am I right (probably the programmers never noticed :P )?
