Mail form

Hi,

I have developed an asp-page that has a number of dedicated functions in it to send a mail with a text file -attached, but now I need an equivalent in php-script. As I am an absolute no no when it comes to php scripting, I hope somebody can help me out.

Here is round up of the functions in the asp page:

create file object
create text stream object

user fills in a form and the fields should be in a trimmed manner be added to the text stream object

fields that are empty shouldn't be added

mail is composed with To-field coming from a form field
body should contain a summary from the field input from user

message should be created an be sent (through sendmail?)

I hope someone can point me to a script or give me some clues about the php statements I should use.
