I would like to know if it is possible to set code to make it so that when someone first signs up and logs into the forum...they have to read a specific post before they can look at all the posts in the forum?  I realize there is a member agreement when someone signs up, but you and i know that most people just scrool down and check the box without reading the agreement...So i figured one last check to have them read the post, then they can go through the forum.

How do you think to force people to read that topic and to not to just scrool like the agreement text? :)

the best solution is to set a time before one can read another post or
My Idea was to put some question related to the post and unless the give the right answer they can not go ahead
you put a 10 line contents and 2 questions at the foot of the message which they have to answer yes or no or give the right answer to be able to go ahead.

You could also send a PM by default to new sign-ups. There's instructions on how to do it in the Tips and Tricks board: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=21708.0

If you set it so that members get a pop-up box by default when they get a new PM, they might at least look at more than than the registration agreement.

Just a thought.
