Hi,

May I know the specs of the server simplemachines.org is hosted on? Just wondering on the requirement to support this crowd online.

Thanks!

The new server is up and running, the next step is to migrate everything over. Just so everyone knows, it's a Pentium 4 - 3.06Ghz sitting merrily at 1GB RAM and running on 64-bit CentOS Linux Enterprise.

I would assume it is an Intel chip with 64-bit CPU technology.  :P

Yes put there is IA64 and AMD64 etc.

I believe the new 64bit Intel processors are compatible with AMD64 but I may be wrong
